★ Hand-crafted animation with a vintage soul ★
Animation is a collaborative art. A single feature often takes dozens — if not hundreds — of artists to bring to life. In 2024, I took on the monumental task of animating an entire 40-minute hybrid 2D/3D film entirely alone.
Working with Austin McConnell's story, I designed every character drawing on Hanna-Barbera, Genndy Tartakovsky's Powerpuff Girls, Dexter's Lab, and the early 2000s Clone Wars. I walked Montréal streets taking reference photos and distilled them into painterly watercolor backgrounds.
Every character, layout, frame of animation, background painting, composite, and edit: my own work. Solo animation studio for over a year.
Expressive designs built for fast, fluid limited animation
Frame-by-frame at 12fps — authentic limited-animation feel
3D models repainted & composited to match 2D style
Watercolor-style backgrounds from Montréal reference photos
Frame-by-frame 2D with a vintage limited-animation soul. Inspired by Hanna-Barbera, Tartakovsky, and Saturday morning cartoons of eras past.
Bold lines, flat fills, expressive poses. Mid-century modern shapes meet Silver Age comics energy. Every drawing is built to move.
Sequential storytelling with wit and heart. Retro ink textures, punchy layouts, and characters with too much personality.
